A major development in Youngstown's recent triple homicide.  The man charged in Tuesday's homicides turned himself in by letting police know he was at the Mahoning County Courthouse.

Twenty-four-year-old Curtis Young of Youngstown surrendered on the front steps of the courthouse.

He's charged with three counts of aggravated murder. Police say Young fatally shot 29-year-old Helen Moore.  She was nine months pregant, so Young is charged with that death and the death of Moore's 8-year-old son, Ceonei.

The U-S Marshall's Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force was searching for Young since Wednesday.

U.S. Marshall Dean Michael says, "We've been receiving information for the past couple of days that he was considering surrendering himself, and we received that information early this morning as well.  And that's exactly what he did do."

Young is expected to be arraigned tomorrow.  It's possible that prosecutors could seek the death penalty. We'll have more on this developing story tonight on 21 News at six.
