Damian Bradford, the man linked to the murder of Mercer County Doctor Gulam Moonda, was back in court Tuesday.
Bradford pleaded guilty to simple assault from an arrest in McKeesport last January.
As he was leaving the court, Bradford apologized to Moonda's family for his involvement in the crime.
Bradford said, "I regret it. I wish I never would have had any involvement. I feel sorry for his family. Any remorse? A lot. If I could take back what happened I would a million times over."
In a plea bargain, Bradford pleaded guilty to interstate stalking and a firearms violation in the Moonda murder.
Bradford was romantically linked with the doctor's wife, Donna.
He is expected to testify against her at her upcoming trial.
