More than 1,500 four-pack celery stick cases made by Duda Farm Fresh Foods are being recalled due to a possible listeria contamination.

Those getting recalled have a best if used by date 03/23/2025 label.

These ready-to-eat Marketside Celery sticks were sold at Walmart stores including locations in Ohio and Pennsylvania.

At this time, no illnesses have been reported in connection with the recalled product. 

Listeria monocytogenes is an organism that can cause serious and sometimes fatal illnesses in young children, frail or elderly people and those with weakened immune systems.

Healthy individuals could still suffer from short-term symptoms like high fever, severe headaches, stiffness, nausea, abdominal pain and diarrhea. Listeria monocytogenes infection can also cause miscarriages and stillbirths among pregnant women.  

Duda Farm Fresh Foods recommends anyone who has this product should not consume it and should discard it immediately.
