According to a news release, Veterans' Outreach has been awarded $25,000 from the Disabled American Veterans (DAV) Charitable Service Trust.

This funding aims to directly support veterans across the registered service areas of Veterans' Outreach through assistance with housing, utilities, food, medical expenses and emergency financial aid.

The funds will be distributed through Veterans' Outreach's assistance programs which serve veterans in need regardless of the branch in which they served or conflicts they endured according to the release.

Veterans residing in the states where Veterans' Outreach is registered and active are eligible for support. According to the Veterans' Outreach website, this includes Alabama, Florida, Kentucky, New York, West Virginia and Ohio.

"This grant allows us to continue our mission of honoring and serving those who have sacrificed for our country," said Teri Ely, Executive Director of Veterans' Outreach.

Veterans in need of assistance are encouraged in the release to visit the Veterans' Outreach website or call 330-755-5792 to learn more about the programs available and apply for services.
