Mahoning County Public Health (MCPH) is offering a "Health Coaches for Hypertension Control" program.

The program will focus on improving hypertension self-management through educational small groups for adults aged 55 and older.

Topics that will be covered include the basics of hypertension control, nutrition, physical activity, tobacco cessation, stress and medication management.

Classes will begin on April 23 from 12 to 1 p.m. and will meet once per week for eight weeks.

It will be located at Mahoning County Public Health, 50 Westchester Drive in Youngstown.
