The full lineup has been announced for Federal Frenzy 2025.

According to a post on Youngstown State University's Penguin Productions' Instagram page, Ultra Q, an alternative rock band from Oakland, California has been announced as the headliner for Federal Frenzy 2025.

Several other local and regional acts will also be playing at the annual music festival, which will span two days including Friday, April 25 from 4 p.m. until 10 p.m. and Saturday, April 26 from 2 pm. until 11 p.m.

Federal Frenzy is now in its 11th year. For the past 10 years, it was a single-day music festival. Now for the first time ever, the festival will span for two days. The event is free and open to the public and no tickets are required to get in.

Day one will take place at Penguin City Brewing Company and day two will take place in downtown Youngstown on West Federal Street according to YSU Penguin Productions' Instagram page.

On day one, all bands will perform on the Platt Stage inside Penguin City, and performances will span across four stages both indoors and outdoors on day two. No Funk No Justice will be the headliner for day one.

The Penguin Productions main stage will be located at the intersection of West Federal Street and Phelps Street, The Summit FM stage will be located at the intersection of West Federal Street and Hazel Street.

Additionally, a third stage will be located inside The Federal restaurant and the fourth stage will be located inside The Varsity Club restaurant.

In addition to the live music, the festival will also feature local vendors and artists, as well as several food trucks and other activities on both days.

There will be 30 vendors set up Friday in the Pollock Ballroom in Penguin City from for the Penguin City Night Market 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. and the Youngstown Flea will power the vendor marketplace Saturday with over 50 vendors along Phelps Street.

Food trucks will consist of Street Pies Brick Oven Pizza, The Big Green Thing, Armida's Cucina and Tra's Gourmet on Friday and What'sGranpaSmokin, R&J Smokers, Wok On The Wild Side and Armida's Cucina on Saturday.

Guests are encouraged to park in the Wick Avenue Parking Deck on YSU's campus. From there, a shuttle will transport them to the site of the festival. Parking is free for YSU students with a parking permit or $5 cash for those without a permit.

There will be several road closures throughout the duration of the festival. Those closures are listed below.

- West Federal Street from Chestnut Street to Market Street will be closed from 5 p.m. Friday, April 25 until 2 a.m. Sunday, April 27

- Hazel Street from Commerce Street to Market Street will be closed from 5 p.m. Friday, April 25 until 2 a.m. Sunday, April 27

- South Phelps Street will be closed from West Federal Street to Boardman Street from 6 a.m. Saturday, April 26 until 2 a.m. Sunday, April 27
