According to a post from the Niles Police Department on its Facebook page, detectives have filed a felony charge against a suspect involved in an armed robbery at a Speedway gas station on Vienna Avenue.

According to the Facebook post, Lance Holbrook, 23, is facing a felony robbery charge.

According to police reports, the incident occurred at 11:20 p.m. on March 16. A male suspect entered the store and presented a note to the clerk, claiming he had a bomb and a gun and demanded cash.

The clerk complied and gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money.

The suspect then fled the store on foot, headed south towards Giant Eagle according to police.

According to police reports, the suspect was described as a white male wearing a red and black jacket, a camouflage hooded sweatshirt, dark pants, and blue gloves. His face was partially covered except for his eyes.

The Facebook post states that great work by the initial responding patrol officers and follow-up work done by the detectives of the Niles Police Department helped this case.
