A Canfield car wash is branching out to offer a different kind of clean: one for muddy mutts. Hercules Car Wash, located at 520 East Main St., announced  it will soon unveil a self-serve dog wash station.

The new facility, a heated and air-conditioned building situated behind the existing car wash, aims to provide a comfortable and convenient space for dog owners to bathe their furry companions.

The dog wash will feature heated water and a variety of supplied soaps. For owners looking to reward their squeaky-clean canines, a dog treat vending machine will also be available. Customers will have the option to purchase single washes or multi-wash packages.

The company indicated that the project is moving forward now that it has received approval from the city of Canfield and anticipates opening the dog wash in the near future.
