Winter is back in action, for one day only

It will feel more like early February than early April on Tuesday. A few lake effect flurries could be around, especially early on, with high temperatures struggling to get out of the low 30s. Flurries will come to an end around midday, and skies will clear out for a time overnight.
The clear skies will not last long as clouds move back in on Wednesday. It will not be as chilly during the afternoon but still below average, with high temperatures in the mid-40s. An area of low pressure will approach the region Wednesday evening, bringing another round of precipitation to the valley.
Wet snowflakes could initially fall for a time Wednesday night before transitioning over to rain showers early Thursday morning. Showers will remain likely at times on Thursday, especially during the first half of the day.
High temperatures will jump back into the 50s, with raindrops becoming more scattered during the afternoon and evening. A shower or two cannot be completely ruled out on Friday and Saturday as an area of low pressure hovers to our east.
