Traffic accident cuts power to hundreds in Columbiana County
People in hundreds of homes in Southern Columbiana County spent much of Tuesday morning in the dark after a traffic accident knocked out power.

People in hundreds of homes in Southern Columbiana County spent much of Tuesday morning in the dark after a traffic accident knocked out power.
According to the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a pickup truck ran into a utility pole just before 1:30 a.m. along Route 45 north of Wellsville. The driver wasn’t injured.
As of 7 a.m., 943 homes and businesses in and around Lisbon, Wellsville, and Salineville still didn’t have electricity.
The power has since been restored.
