The location for former Vice Presidential candidate, and current Minnesota Governor Tim Walz town hall in Youngstown has been announced. 

Walz will be visiting the Valley Monday, April 7th at 6 p.m. at the DeYor Performing Arts Center on West Federal Street. 

The event, organized by local Democrats, comes after growing frustration among some Ohio 6th District constituents who say Congressman Mike Rulli has not held any public town halls in the region, including in Mahoning County, the most populous in his district.

Walz posted on the social media platform X in early March, saying, "If your Republican representative won’t meet with you because their agenda is so unpopular, maybe a Democrat will. Hell, maybe I will. If your congressman refuses to meet, I’ll come host an event in their district to help local Democrats beat ‘em."
