Crews from multiple fire departments responded to a house fire in Hubbard Sunday morning.

A Trumbull County dispatcher tells 21 News the fire started around 8 a.m. Sunday on the 3200 Block of Shadyside Drive near the intersection with West Liberty Street.

The dispatcher says the fire started in an upstairs bedroom of the house, but was able to be contained quickly. Everyone in the home including a dog was able to get out safely and no one was injured.

Lieutenant Jared Vinkler with the Eagle Joint Fire District tells 21 News he does not have an estimate for damages to the home, but does not believe the home to be a total loss.

Vinkler says the damage is mostly contained to the second floor of the home with the first floor still being fairly clear aside from some smoke. The home in not livable at this time.
