Christmas-themed cafe closes Boardman location

After just over a year in business, the holiday-themed Christmas Cafe has closed its Boardman location and plans to relocate to Nashville, Tennessee.
In a message posted on its website, the cafe stated its Boardman location is "officially closed." The announcement expressed excitement about the move to Nashville and thanked patrons for their support. No reason was given for the closing.
The Christmas Cafe offered a year-round Christmas atmosphere. Its website described the business as a place to "rediscover the joy of the season" with festive events, holiday-themed food and drinks, and a "Santa's Workshop" crafting area. The menu featured items such as Peach Cobbler Chicken & Waffles and Mega Milkshakes.
Earlier this year, the cafe temporarily closed due to a flu outbreak among its staff. Initially planned to last through the first two weeks of January 2025, the closure was extended until January 15. The reopening on that date coincided with the business's first anniversary.
The website did not specify a timeline for the opening of the Nashville location.
