Several communities throughout the Mahoning and Shenango Valleys are getting ready to welcome Easter.

Mahoning County
April 5:
Underwater Egg Hunt at the Davis Family YMCA, 45 McClurg Rd, Youngstown. Time slots are as follows:
- Three to five years old (12:30 to 1 p.m.)
- Six to eight years old (1:10 to 1:40 p.m.)
- Nine to 12 years old (1:50 to 2:20 p.m.)
- 12 and up (2:30 to 3 p.m.)
There are 30 spots per time slot. Children aged five and under must have adult with them in the water.
Members pay $10 or $25 for 3 plus children. Non-members pay $15 or $35 for 3 plus children.

Full Spectrum Easter Hangout, 660 W Earle Ave, Youngstown, 4 to 7 p.m. Full Spectrum will be hosting an Easter egg hunt and Easter drag story hour alongside having an arts and crafts station and Easter candy for kids and adults alike in its second annual Easter hangout event.
April 12:
Easter Bunny Brunch, Avion on the Water, 2177 W. Western Reserve Rd., 11 am to 1 pm, Beaver Twp. with Easter Bunny and Alice in Wonderland. 330-758-4140 reservations required.
$22 per adult, $18 per child. Brunch will include ham, french toast, scrambled eggs, cheesy hash brown casserole, buttermilk biscuits, pastries, juice, water and coffee.
April 12:
Breakfast with the Easter Bunny, Dairy Queen Grill & Chill, 6532 Market St, Boardman. From 8 to 10 am. DQ "Bunny Face" pancakes for $1.99, FREE photo and gift (up to $5 value) from the Easter Bunny for each child (2-10 years) who purchase breakfast and decorate your own DQ cupcake for $3.49.
Purchase of breakfast will receive free candy filled eggs, real chicks and bunnies to pet outside and a chance to win Easter baskets.
April 12, 13, 19:
Breakfast & Tea with the Easter Bunny at the Piccadilly Parlour Tea Room, 114 South Broad Street, Canfield.
Breakfast will be from 9 to 11 a.m.
$21 per child – choice of chocolate chip pancakes or waffles, hash brown, 2 sausage links, choice of beverage.
$23 per adult – spinach tomato parmesan quiche, cranberry pineapple salad, 2 sausage links, hash brown, served with orange tea bread, beverage included.
Tea on April 12 and 19 will be from 3 to 5 pm. However, on April 13, tea will be from noon to 2 pm.
$21 per child – includes chicken nuggets, mini cheese pizza, PBJs, mini corn dogs, fresh fruit on the side and sweets served tea party style. Beverage included.
$23 per adult – a medley of miniature tea sandwiches such as traditional cucumber, walnut cream cheese wedges, egg & chive, chicken and tuna salad, our homemade quiche silvers, and pasta salad. Delightful sweets and beverage included.
Guest may pay via cash or check, and a 4% customer service fee will apply to all credit card sales. Guests attending without purchase of a meal will be charged a $12 seating fee. Reservation required, 330-533-4749.
April 15: Cross Stitch Easter Cards, The Public Library of Youngstown, 305 Wick Ave, Youngstown. From 6 to 7 pm. Create your own cross-stitched card to celebrate Easter, supplies will be provided. Registration is required, you can register here.
April 19: Needle Felting Easter Egg Class, Wonder Struck Painting Studio, 3649 Canfield Rd, Canfield. 2:30 to 4:30 pm, class includes all supplies needed to make two eggs. Adults only and will cost $35 per person. You can purchase tickets here.
April 20: Easter Brunch, Penguin City Brewing Co., 460 E. Federal St., Youngstown. 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Easter Bunny photos with kids, Alice in Wonderland will be making an appearance at 12:30 p.m.; Easter Egg hunt at 1:30 pm.
Trumbull County
April 5:
Easter Bunny Arrival, Great East Plaza #912, 5555 Youngstown Warren Rd, Niles, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Eastwood Mall Complex will be hosting the Easter bunny's arrival after a live comedy performance from the Joe Sullivan Show. Then the All Smiles Aboard train will bring the Easter Bunny in to take photos.
Easter celebration, 40 N Main St, Niles, 2 to 3 p.m. Therapy bunnies and an Easter egg hunt will be present at McKinley Birthplace Memorial Field. Children ages 0 and up are welcome to join the hunt. Bring bags for collecting the eggs.
April 12:
Trumbull County Sheriff's Office Easter Egg Hunt, 161 High St NW, Warren, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. The sheriff's office will be holding their first Easter egg hunt on the Courthouse Square lawn. All children ages 12 and below will be given a bag to collect eggs in and one lucky boy and girl will be selected as "Sheriff for the Day."
April 15:
Egg Hunt at Eastwood Field, 111 Eastwood Mall Boulevard, Niles, 5 p.m. The Mahoning Valley Scrappers will be holding it's second annual Easter egg hunt will begin at 6 p.m. Photos cant be taken with both the Easter bunny and Scrappy along with face painting, balloon twisting and more. Tickets are presale only and costs $5 for kids and $1 for adults. Tickets can be bought at the link here.
April 18:
Easter Bunny Pictures, 1702 North Road Southeast, Warren, 3 to 6 p.m. Niles Pet Salon is hosting an event for children to get pictures with the Easter bunny.
Bunny Bingo with St. Joe's, Great East Plaza #912, 5555 Youngstown Warren Rd, Niles, 2 p.m. The Eastwood Mall Complex will be hosting this Easter-themed afternoon of bingo with prizes and all.
Columbiana County
April 12:
Elignitekidz Easter egg hunt, 2626 Parkway Avenue, East Liverpool, noon to 2 p.m. Come and enjoy an Easter egg hunt at Thompson Park with food and even the chance to "pie the pastor," for $1.
April 19:
East Palestine Park Board's Easter Egg Hunt, 31 Park Ave., East Palestine, noon, the East Palestine Park Board will be hosting a Easter egg hunt with a twist. All the eggs, after opened, will be recycled at the recycling bin at the basketball courts.
Guardians of the Children - Steel Valley Easter egg hunt, 2626 Parkway Ave., East Liverpool, 2 p.m. Steel Valley's branch of Guardians of the Children welcomes children of all ages to come and find the Easter eggs in Thompson Park.
Mercer County
April 12:
Mercer Area Chamber of Commerce Easter egg hunt, 197 William T Wardle Dr, Mercer, noon, There will be more than Easter eggs to get a hold of at this event. Many prizes, crafts and games will be on offer and if you are looking to volunteer or donate to this event you can visit the link here or call the number here.
Pet pictures with the Easter bunny, Tractor Supply Co., 25 Williamson Rd., Greenville, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., a $5 donation to Strayhaven Animal Shelter can get your pets in a picture with the Easter bunny.
Easter Sunday Buffet at the Tara - A Country Inn, 2488 Lake Rd., Clark, noon to 4:30 p.m. For the prices of $50 per adult, $45 per senior, $30 per child ages 4-12 and free for children 3 or under you can have a part of a buffet featuring honey glazed ham, roasted lamb and turkey, prime rib, au gratin potatoes and much more.
Lawrence County
April 5:

April 12:
Ellwood City Area Chamber of Commerce Easter Eggstravaganza, Ewing Park, Washington Ave, Ellwood City, 11 a.m. This event will feature four Easter egg hunts, face paintings, an opportunity to take a picture with the Easter bunny, and a petting zoo along with food trucks from businesses local to the area. The event is free for everyone.
