Various Buffalo, sriracha sauce products recalled due to undeclared sulfites, mislabeling

Several Buffalo sauce and sriracha sauce products sold in several states including Ohio have been recalled due to undeclared sulfites and a mislabeling issue.
According to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), the T.W. Garner Food Company issued a recall of various sizes of its Texas Pete Habanero Buffalo Sauce because bottles may contain siracha sauce.
Sriracha sauce contains sulfites, which could cause the risk of a life-threatening allergic reaction to those who are allergic. The recalled bottles do not warn of the sulfites.
In addition, various sizes of Texas Pete Sweet CHAbanero Sauce have been recalled because those bottles do not contain the labeled ingredient Aged Peppers.
At this time no illnesses have been reported in connection with the recalled products.
A breakdown of all recalled products is pictured below.

The recalled products were sold between February 5, 2025 and March 26, 2025. The expiration date is located on the top of the 2 fl. oz. bottles, the back label of the 20 fl. oz. bottles and on the top cap of the 12 fl. oz. and 0.5 gallon bottles.
Consumers who have purchased a recalled product are urged to either throw it away or return it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
