Crash closes State Route 626 in Springfield Township

Officials on the scene told 21 News that the driver was not injured in the crash.

Woodworth Road, also known as State Route 626, is closed Thursday afternoon after a semitrailer drove off the roadway near Springfield Road.

The crash took out several powerline poles and a telephone pole. Fewer than 20 homes and businesses are without power, and the estimated time for power restoration is 4 p.m.

Officials at the scene told 21 News that the driver was not injured in the crash.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is handling the crash investigation.
