Thunderstorms to heavy rain to snow....this forecast has it all
After a line of showers and thunderstorms rolls through the Valley early this afternoon, we will be left with some isolated showers before more showers and thunderstorms return later in the night.
Another line of showers and thunderstorms will return overnight and into Thursday morning. This line will have some gusty thunderstorms associated with it, and damaging wind gusts can't be ruled out. It will be a good idea to have those devices charged up before going to bed Wednesday evening.
Showers will linger through late in the morning before tapering off and leaving us with a dry and warm afternoon with high temperatures climbing to the low 70s. Showers will return overnight into Friday morning and then, once again, linger past sunrise.
After showers taper off on Friday, we will soak up all the dry time were can get before rain dominates the weekend weather headlines.
Showers will become widespread Friday night into Saturday with rain around at any point Saturday and Sunday. The heaviest rain will occur Saturday and Saturday night, with rainfall totals through the end of the weekend ranging from 3 to 4 inches. For perspective, our average monthly rainfall total for April is 3.75".
Next week will turn chilly, with high temperatures in the upper 40s on Monday and as cold as the upper 30s on Tuesday; we can't rule out a few flurries on Monday night or Tuesday either.
