Attorney for Trumbull County Commissioner weighs in following raid at massage parlor

The attorney for a Trumbull County Commissioner who was the landlord of a building that housed a massage parlor raided by law enforcement has weighed in on the matter.
21 News spoke Mark Finamore, who is representing Trumbull County Commissioner and former Hubbard Township Trustee Rick Hernandez.
Finamore told 21 News his role in the matter was helping Hernandez with the legalities of his situation. Finamore says since there was no clause in the renting agreement to evict for criminal activity, Hernandez did not have the total authority to evict the tenant.
Despite this statement, Hernandez has publicly stated multiple times that he had no knowledge of any illegal activity going on in the building prior to an arrest that was made back in February of 2025.
However, recently-released body camera video from the Hubbard Police Department shows that Hernandez was alerted to alleged prostitution going on in the building prior to going on record saying he knew nothing about illegal activity.
When asked about this, Finamore said Hernandez could have used better judgment in that regard.
Hernandez was the landlord at a building that house 3C Foot Spa, a massage parlor that was raided by law enforcement and resulted in the arrest of Furong Li of Flushing, New York.
