Akron man rescued from chimney after attempted break-in

A 29-year-old man was rescued from a chimney after attempting to break into a closed mental health facility in Akron, police said.
Officers responded to a call about a suspicious person at Minority Behavioral Health Group in the 700 block of E. Archwood Avenue around 3:15 p.m. Saturday, the Akron Police Department said. 911 callers reported a man was on the roof, attempting to enter the building.
Upon arrival, officers found Jabin Cuckler stuck inside the chimney. The Akron Fire Department was called to the scene and, after several hours, successfully removed Cuckler.
Cuckler was taken into custody without incident and transported to a local hospital for evaluation and treatment. After being discharged, he was booked into the Summit County Jail on charges of breaking and entering and criminal trespassing.
