Youngstown Air Reserve Station to welcome new commander

Col. Christopher E. Sedlacek will assume command of the 910th Airlift Wing at Youngstown Air Reserve Station during an upcoming ceremony.
Sedlacek's previous assignment was as commander of the 302nd Airlift Wing at Peterson Space Force Base, Colo., since August 2022.
Sedlacek was commissioned in 1997 through the U.S. Air Force Academy and has served in the Air Force Reserve since 2004. He has held positions including squadron commander and group commander. He has more than 3,500 flying hours, including more than 370 combat flight hours.
The 910th Airlift Wing's mission includes tactical airlift and aerial spray operations.
Maj. Gen. Melissa A. Coburn, 22nd Air Force commander from Dobbins Air Reserve Base, Ga., will preside over the event.
