Donation bins vandalized, trailer stolen hours later at Warren Family Mission
The Warren Family Mission is facing two separate crimes that occurred within hours of each other on Sunday—vandalism in the morning and theft later that evening.
At approximately 6:45 a.m., staff discovered that the organization’s clothing donation bins had been vandalized behind the building on West Market Street. Later that night, just before 8:45 p.m., surveillance footage captured two individuals stealing a red trailer used in the nonprofit’s daily feeding program.

“Stealing is never good, but stealing from a nonprofit? It’s pretty low,” said Dominic Marrari, Director of Public Relations at the Warren Family Mission. “That trailer helped us serve over 119,000 hot meals last year.”
The video shows a pickup truck backing up to the trailer, two people getting out, attaching it, and then driving away. Staff didn’t realize it was missing until Monday, when they reviewed the footage after noticing the trailer was gone.
Despite the setbacks, the Mission quickly adjusted. Meals were moved indoors Monday to ensure those in need were still served.
“We won’t let this stop us,” Marrari said. “We’re still feeding people every day. This is just a hiccup until we recover—or replace—that trailer.”
The organization is offering a $500 reward for information that leads to an arrest. Anyone with information is encouraged to call the Mission or reach out via Facebook.
