A Warren woman was arrested after allegedly firing shots in the parking lot of a Howland Township bar late Saturday night, according to police.

Lacriesha Green, 33, was arrested on two counts of felonious assault, a second-degree felony.

Howland Township police were dispatched to the Holiday Bar, Elm Rd. NE, at 11:04 p.m. for a report of shots fired. Callers reported multiple shots and a woman shooting a gun in the parking lot, police said.

Officers arriving at the scene found two vehicles that had been struck by gunfire. Police found three spent .380 auto shell casings in the parking lot.

While the officers were investigating, dispatch advised they were in contact with Green, who reported being assaulted at the bar and was bleeding from her face. Green refused to meet with police, officers said.

Witnesses at the scene identified Green as the shooter when she returned to the bar in a silver Chevy Impala.

According to police, a statement indicated Green said she shot at a man because he had put his hands on her.

Officers reviewed surveillance footage from the bar, which showed Green involved in a confrontation before retrieving what appeared to be a handgun from her car and firing multiple shots as individuals exited the bar, police said.

Green was transported to the Trumbull County Jail and scheduled for arraignment on Monday in Warren Municipal Court.
