In light of the recent shut down of Insight Hospital and Medical Center along with Hillside Rehabilitation Hospital, Mercy Health says they are ready to assist those affected by the pausing of services at the Trumbull County facilities.

A media release sent to 21 News reminds Valley residents of the services and facilities they have in place if needed.

  • Mercy Health, with Lifepoint Rehabilitation, offers expanded acute rehabilitation services, including 60 beds, therapy gymnasiums, outdoor courtyards, and spaces designed to help patients return to activities of daily living.
  • Their three acute care hospitals have expanded or are in the process of expanding inpatient capacity to accommodate more patients, and are working to reduce ER wait times
  • The hospitals have increased staff and are looking to hire new employees to meet rising demand.

Also, a 72-bed Mercy Health Behavioral Hospital will be built later this year in Youngstown.

Mercy Health has three upcoming hiring events scheduled.
