Part of Oak Hill Avenue to close April 2, 3 to replace utility poles

Oak Hill Avenue will be closed between Joseph Street and High Street from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. on both Wednesday, April 2 and Thursday, April 3.

A section of Oak Hill Avenue in Youngstown is set to close Wednesday, April 2 and Thursday, April 3.

Oak Hill Avenue will be closed between Joseph Street and High Street from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. on both Wednesday, April 2 and Thursday, April 3 to allow crews to replace power poles and span guy wires along the roadway.

This comes after a vehicle recently crashed into a utility pole Monday, March 24 cutting power for several customers in the area.

Detours will be posted during work hours.
