Icy roads throughout the Valley caused several crashes during Wednesday morning's commute.
Traffic backed up on State Route 11 in Canfield after 6:30 a.m., after a crash along the northbound lanes that left a pickup truck on its side and damaged another vehicle. No one was injured.
Authorities described the Ohio Turnpike overpass as a sheet of ice.
That was just one of several accidents.
A short time later, a car slid off Mahoning Avenue in Jackson Township. Although the car was damaged and the airbags deployed, no one was seriously injured.
