Six members of the Youngstown State basketball team have entered the transfer portal since it opened Monday.

Elijah Guillory & Kevin Hamilton entered Wednesday. Both did not play this season.

Juwan Maxey, Christian Kirkland and Dante DePante entered Tuesday.

Maxey, a junior guard, started 29 games for the Penguins during the 2024-2025 campaign. He averaged 11.4 points a game.

Kirkland and Dante are both redshirt freshman.

In total, seven  players have entered the portal including David Wilkerson and Gabe Dynes.

The Penguins finished the 2024-2025 season with a 21-13 overall record and a trip to the Horizon League Championship.
