Whatta-Potato, a restaurant specializing in loaded potatoes, will open at the Eastwood Mall on Tuesday, March 25, 2025.

Located in the JCPenney concourse near Center Court, the eatery is scheduled to open at 10:30 a.m.

Owner India Hogans, a nurse for 20 years, said she is pursuing a long-term interest in cooking. “I’ve always wanted to open a restaurant that wasn’t too small or too big, that offered a unique product,” Hogans said.

The restaurant offers customizable loaded potatoes with various toppings, signature creations, desserts, drinks and entrees. Hogans said the menu is designed to appeal to all ages.

Whatta-Potato intends to source potatoes from local businesses.

The first 15 customers on opening day will receive a free t-shirt.
