Youngstown lottery player wins $50K from scratch-off ticket

The Ohio Lottery sent out a news release on Friday stating that someone from Youngstown had won $50,000 from a Winter Fun scratch-off ticket.

After mandatory state and federal taxes totaling 28% are taken, the winner will take home roughly $36,000.

The ticket was sold at Uptown beverage at 2935 Market Street #3 in Youngstown.

Winter Fun is a $10 scratch-off ticket game that has a top prize of $500,000.

As of this latest win, there are two top prizes left in the game.
