Scrappers plan 'Major League' mohawk bobblehead giveaway June 28

If you’re a fan of the movie “Major League” and its “Wild Thing” pitcher Rick Vaughn, you might want to be at Eastwood Field later this spring.
The Mahoning Valley Scrappers will give a bobblehead featuring the "Major League" mohawk baseball head to the first 1,000 fans at Eastwood Field on June 28.
The bobblehead, presented by Toyota of Warren and 21 WFMJ, will feature the distinctive hairstyle from the movie about the fictional Cleveland Indians, and will wear No. 99, a nod to both the team's inaugural season and the character "Wild Thing."
Fans can guarantee a bobblehead by purchasing a special ticket package that includes a game ticket and $10 in loaded value for in-stadium merchandise or concessions. The package starts at $25 per person and is available at mvscrappers.com.
The Scrappers, a founding member of the MLB Draft League, will open their season June 4 against the State College Spikes at Eastwood Field.
