Victim identified in Friday shooting on Youngstown's Southside
The victim was identified as 39-year-old Daniel Weaver.
A man who died days after police say he was shot on Youngstown's South Side Friday.
The victim was identified as 39-year-old Daniel Weaver.
Police tell 21 News that Weaver was taken to the hospital after a shooting along East Lucius Avenue near South Avenue at around 5 a.m. Friday.
According to a police report, police found Weaver laying in front of a home unresponsive on the 500 Block of East Lucius. Police performed life-saving measures on him until EMT arrived.
Lieutenant Mohammad Awad tells 21 News Weaver died of his injuries Sunday night.
