Benadryl sold on Amazon recalled due to lack of child-resistant packaging

Arsell has issued a recall of 100 mL bottles of Benadryl liquid elixir due to the lack of child-resistant packaging.
According to the Consumer Products Safety Commission (CPSC), the recalled products were sold on Amazon between July of 2023 and October of 2024 for between $16 and $19 per bottle.
The recall is due to the bottles not having child-resistant packaging, which could lead to the risk of poisoning if the contents are swallowed by young children. So far no injuries stemming from the recalled products have been reported.
Products with the product code "X003VRIGUL" are affected by this recall. You can find the product code on a white label on the bottom of the paper box the bottles came in. Those who have purchased a recalled product are being contacted directly.
If you've purchased a recalled product, you're asked to keep it away from children and contact Arsell for a refund. You'll be asked to provide your Amazon order number and photographic proof of the disposal of the product.
While only the bottles are being recalled, consumers are being asked to dispose of the medicine itself as well.
