Stark State College to begin in-person classes in the Mahoning Valley

Stark State College's presence in the Mahoning Valley is growing with the college beginning to offer in-person classes in the area in the fall of 2025
According to a press release, Stark State College is now offering in-person medical assisting classes at Campbell City Schools and plans to offer in-person classes in business management and Associate of Arts and Associate of Science degrees in the fall of 2025.
Students can also begin taking pre-nursing classes in the fall of 2025, and efforts are underway to bring nursing programs to the Mahoning Valley in fall of 2026.
This is in addition to more than 25 online degrees and certificates.
According to the release, over 3,000 students from across all three Mahoning Valley counties have enrolled at Stark State, which has been teaching College Credit Plus (CCP) classes for over six years at Campbell City Schools.
The college also has university transfer partnerships with Youngstown State University, as well as the University of Akron, Kent State University, Ohio State University and many more.
Additionally, the college has a partnership with the Northeast Ohio Medical University (NEOMED), which provides Associate of Science Students the opportunity to directly apply for NEOMED's pharmacy doctor program.
