Just before the beginning of March, 21 News reported that Jersey Mike's Subs locations in the Mahoning and Shenango Valleys were giving back to multiple Valley charities throughout the Month of Giving campaign in March.

During the campaign, customers are given the option to round their purchase up to the nearest dollar or donate an extra $1, $3 or $5 to support the charities. However the company will be giving even more on Wednesday, March 26.

Throughout the day on March 26, Jersey Mike's will be giving 100% of all sales to one of three local charities depending on which location you purchase from.

The Salem and Cortland locations will be donating to The Brightside Project, the Boardman location will be donating to Project MKC and the Hermitage location will be donating to the Children's Center for Mercer County.

The Month of Giving campaign has been going on since 2011 and has raised more than $113 for charities across the country. This year, Jersey Mike's hopes to surpass last year's record-breaking total of $25 million.
