Dairy Queen will offer a free small vanilla cone on Thursday, March 20.

The promotion is available at non-mall locations and at participating mall locations with a purchase. The offer is limited to one cone per person, all day, while supplies last. It is not valid on delivery or mobile orders.  

The company said the event aims to "kick off treat season" with its soft-serve product.
