'Sunday Sauce Trail' returns to Lawrence County
The "Sunday" Sauce Trail will be returning to Lawrence County, Pennsylvania according to a news release from the "Visit Lawrence County, Pennsylvania" website.
The trail will be ongoing until March 10, 2026 for any participant to travel on any day of the week, not just Sunday.
Featured on the trail are opportunities for prizes such as a t-shirt, apron, ornament or other items according to the news release.
Participants can collect points by dining in or taking out at the restaurants above by scanning a QR code to check in.
Participants may also ask a staff member at the location for the official "Sunday" Sauce Trail pin that can be entered into the digital passport of the event as found on the website page for the event.

Twelve Italian restaurants will are included in the "Sunday" Sauce Trail. The restaurants are as follows:
Four Pizzeria Bar & Grille - 2409 Wilmington Road, New Castle - Open Tuesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. and Saturday from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Closed Sunday and Monday.
Gallo's Italian Villa - 2420 Wilmington Road, New Castle - Open Monday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
Ladies of the Dukes - 1114 North Croton Avenue, New Castle.
Mangino's Pizzeria - Mahoningtown - 106 North Liberty Street, New Castle - Open Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Friday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Closed Sunday.

The goal of the "Sunday" Sauce Trail aims to pay homage to the Italian tradition of families and friends gathering on Sundays for Sunday sauce according to the news release.
