A mild afternoon on the final day of winter

Some filtered sunshine will be around on Wednesday, but the presence of a few clouds will not stop temperatures from rising into the low 70s. The only downside to today's forecast is that it could be breezy at times, with wind gusts up to 30 miles per hour.
Clouds will thicken overnight as our next storm system approaches from the west. A cold front will arrive right around daybreak with a round of showers. Showers will taper off during the morning commute before a break in the action around midday.
Temperatures will fall behind the front, dropping from the low 50s Thursday morning to the upper 30s by the afternoon. As cooler air rushes in, any lingering raindrops could change to snow flurries for the evening commute.
Skies will clear out Thursday night, and Friday will be a brighter and more pleasant end to the week. High temperatures will be average in the upper 50s with mostly sunny skies.
Another round of showers will start Saturday morning, with temperatures falling throughout the day. Sunday's daylight hours will be mainly dry before more raindrops enter the forecast Sunday night into Monday morning.
