YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio - A Youngstown man has pled guilty to threatening to bomb Youngstown City Hall and has been accepted into honors court.

Sixty-five-year-old Charles Brewer pled guilty to one count of making terroristic threats and was accepted into honors court, which is a court program designed to help veterans facing criminal charges.

He is also ordered not to contact City Hall again.

The charges stem from a phone call made to Youngstown City Hall back in November of 2024 when Brewer called to report a rodent problem that had been going on at his home for several months.

Police said Brewer made threats to blow up city hall and "fill body bags with government officials" if no one contacted him by a certain day.

Brewer was arrested by police the same day he made the call.
