Grove City College announced it has selected Bradley J. Lingo '00 as the college's tenth president after the school's board of trustees voted unanimously on him.

Lingo graduated summa cum laude from the college in the year 2000 and has a background in academics and business economics which was part of the thinking behind the board's decision to vote him president.

"Brad rose to the top of the search committee's deep candidate pool because of a unique combination of experience and characteristics that make him the right leader for the next chapter of Grove City College's story," said Edward D. Breen '78, chair of the Grove City College Board of Trustees and the Board's Presidential Search Committee.

Lingo currently serves as the dean of Regent University School of Law in Virginia, and according to the media release has set records for the school in enrollment, median incoming GPA and LSAT scores, and employment outcomes.

"My life was transformed through Grove City College," Lingo said. "As a student, I found professors who believed in me and friends who encouraged me in my faith, and I experienced the joy of working hard to pursue excellence in a Christian community."

Lingo is set to begin his school presidency in July, with an inauguration later that academic year.
