The Lewis Center for Gifted Learning at Valley Christian Schools in Youngstown will close at the end of the 2024/25 school year.

Lewis Center Director Rachel Gonatas tells 21 News while the school will be closing at the end of the current school year, it is not going away completely.

Gonatas says the Lewis Center will become a program on Valley Christian's central campus rather than its own separate building. At this time, it is unclear why this move is necessary.

21 News has reached out to Valley Christian Schools President Mike Pecchia for more information and we're waiting to hear back.
