Annual student art exhibit returns to YSU for 88th year
The?John J. McDonough Museum of Art? has announced its 88th annual Juried Student Art & Design Exhibition.
The exhibition will give awards for ceramics, photography, painting, drawing, sculpture, digital media, graphic and interactive design including works by YSU students who took classes in the Department of Art.
Sidney Mullis will be this year's juror. Mullis is a Pittsburgh-based sculptor whose works have seen exhibitions in places like Berlin, Tokyo, England, Croatia and the Netherlands.
The exhibition is sponsored by Cliffe College, the Department of Art, the McDonough and the Student Art Association.
An opening awards ceremony for the exhibition will be held Friday, March 21 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. with awards being announced at 5:45 p.m.
The event is free to the public and the student's works will be on display until April 4.
