Friday features our first 70-degree day of the year, coming just two days before we climatologically hit the mark. Friday evening remains dry, mild, and partly cloudy but a breeze will be noticeable.

This weekend will turn active with rain and high winds around both days.

The best chance for showers and maybe some thunder will be from the middle of the morning through the early afternoon on Saturday. Showers could pick up in intensity during that time, but the severe weather threat for Saturday remains very low. The second half of Saturday will turn dry, with minimal sunshine and winds continuing to gust between 30 to 35 mph.

Rainfall will turn widespread Saturday night after sunset into Sunday morning with showers tapering off through the afternoon. Sunday will also be windy with winds gusting from 30 to 40 mph, especially in the morning. Showers look to taper off throughout the afternoon but could linger into the evening hours with temperatures falling out of the 60s early in the afternoon.

Saint Patrick's Day will be cooler than previous days, but it will still be above the average with high temperatures around 50 degrees and plenty of sunshine.

Tuesday and Wednesday feature high temperatures returning to the 60s with Thursday looking wet with even the return of light snow on the backside of the the late-week system.
