The Ohio Lottery is limiting advance play purchases for Mega Millions tickets as it prepares for the game's relaunch on April 5.

 Starting after the Feb. 28 drawing, players in Ohio are only permitted to purchase tickets for the upcoming Mega Millions drawings through April 4, the lottery announced Tuesday. Typically, players can buy tickets for up to 10 consecutive drawings.

The number of advance draw plays available will decrease by one each drawing night until the game changes take effect in April.

Players will be able to purchase up to 10 advance draw tickets again starting April 5.
