Daytime closure of Canfield's Tippecanoe Road planned this week
Drivers are asked to use Lockwood Boulevard during the closure period.

Hundreds of drivers who travel a busy road in Canfield will have to detour this week.
A section of Tippecanoe Road in Canfield Township is being closed during daytime hours this week so crews can trim branches and trees along the stretch of road.
Tippecanoe Road will be closed between Villa Rosa Drive and Fairway Drive from Monday, February 24 until Friday, February 28, according to the Mahoning County Engineer. According to the latest ODOT traffic count, more than 9,800 cars and trucks travel that stretch of Tippecanoe Road each day.
The closure will only be in effect during daytime work hours. There will be no overnight closures.
Drivers are asked to use Lockwood Boulevard during the closure period. Signs will be posted.
