The Youngstown State women's basketball team outlasted Oakland on the road, 52-51, Saturday afternoon.
The Penguins were led by Jewel Watkins with 22 points and Sophia Gregory added 16 points and 11 rebounds.
Watkins scored 11 of her 22 points in the fourth quarter.
The Penguins came up with a big defensive stop in the final seconds to hold on for the win.
It's the second straight win for YSU who improves to 11-17, 6-12 in Horizon League.
The Penguins play at Robert Morris Wednesday at 7:00 p.m.
