Police say a Struthers woman who was allegedly trying to get into cars on the Youngstown State University campus had “a stack” of credit and debit cards belonging to other people.

YSU Police sent an officer to investigate after a woman was seen pulling car door handles along North Phelps Street at 5:30 Wednesday morning.

The officer arrested the suspect, 35-year-old Jessica Garrett, after learning that she had arrest warrants for receiving stolen property, obstructing official business, and resisting arrest.

Police say credit and debit cards sticking out of her wallet had several different names on them.

When the officer asked Garrett who the people were and why she had the cards, Garrett replied “I don’t know” according to the police report.

The cards were taken as evidence.  Garrett was taken to the county jail.
