Every Tuesday and Thursday, the Broad Street Station cafe opens its doors to provide discounted, home-cooked meals to senior citizens in the community, offering not only nourishing food but a sense of connection.

“We have a lot of seniors in town, and some of them are lonely. For many, it's the only hot meal they get,” said Pamela Priddy, Head Baker at Broad Street Station Cafe.

“We serve hot, home-cooked meals, the kind your mom, wife, or aunt might make and we invite everyone to come in and share the love,” added Julia Smeiles, another dedicated volunteer at the cafe.

Meals are available for as little as $4 for those 65 and older. For those aged 50-64, meals are priced at $5.50.
