A Republican who the Associated Press reports will kick off his campaign for Ohio Governor next week is scheduled to deliver the keynote address at the Mahoning County GOP Lincoln Day Dinner.

Vivek Ramaswamy will speak at the event on April 3, 6 p.m. at Waypoint 4180, 4180 Westford Place, Canfield.

Ramaswamy, 39, a candidate in the last presidential election, will run for the post being left vacant as Governor Mike DeWine is not permitted to seek re-election because of term limits.

Other Republicans scheduled to address the Lincoln Day Dinner, are Congressman Michael Rulli, State Senator Al Cutrona, State Representative Tex Fischer, and County Commissioner Geno Difabio.
