YNDC awarded $25,000 check from Premier Bank for Essential Home Repair program
Repairs through this program primarily include replacement of leaking roofs, repair and replacement of non-functioning furnaces and hot water tanks and repair of plumbing leaks.
The Youngstown Neighborhood Development Corporation (YNDC) has been awarded a $25,000 check from Premier Bank on Wednesday.
The funds from the check will be used for YNDC's Essential Home Repair Program, which provides low-income homeowners in Mahoning County with necessary home repairs free of charge.
YNDC Housing Director Tiffany Sokol is quoted in a press release saying this program can only be sustained through the support of its partners such as Premier Bank.
