YPD kept busy Wednesday with stabbing, shooting, and random gunfire

Youngstown Police Officers were kept busy Wednesday investigating reports of shots being fired, one person shot, and a juvenile being stabbed.
Someone living at a house on Logan told police he heard five gunshots and screeching tires just as bullets struck the home. No one was hurt, but one bullet hit the living room, and another struck the porch.
A couple of hours later along North Brockway, police investigating shots being fired learned that a shooting victim had been taken to the hospital and was in stable condition. The Crime Lab and detectives are investigating.
Around 7 p.m. police took a report about a juvenile girl who allegedly stabbed a juvenile boy during an argument. The victim was hospitalized in stable condition.
Then a couple of hours before midnight, a neighbor along Eastway Driver reported that a masked man was firing shots into the air. Officers found eight 9mm shell casings in the street. No injuries were reported.
