A Warren man who police said killed an acquaintance of his with "personal weapons" has entered a guilty plea on Tuesday.

According to the Trumbull County Prosecutor's Office, 44-year-old Gabriel Hendrix pled guilty to an amended charge of involuntary manslaughter, a felony in the first degree.

The charge stems from the death of 48-year-old Andrew Warner in a home on the 1300 Block of Westwood Drive NW back in May of 2024.

Police said Hendrix killed Warner using "personal weapons," which is defined as hands, feet, fists, teeth, etc.

Hendrix is scheduled to be sentenced on February 10. In the meantime, he remains in the Trumbull County Jail on a $750,000 bond.
